If you find a bug in this program (shut down, etc), please report it
to me. I will use your feedback for updating/supporting SCMPX.
SCMPX has ended with the application error...
When SCMPX has ended with an error, the Wave device volume may be 0
when you re-start SCMPX. In this case, go to Windows' [Control Panel] ->
[Multimedia] and check the volume setting.
Also, when SCMPX has been shut down while outputting a file, the file may
remain in hard disk. In this case, please remove the file yourself.
There is something wrong in the data...
Sometimes there are some errors in a file downloaded from a web site.
These files usually has distorted sound, or suddenly stops while playing.
MPEG header is so simple that it is rather hard to know if the data is broken.
SCMPX compares the neighboring headers, and displays the error status
when errors are found. When the data seems to cause an error, playing will be
stopped automatically. Otherwise the playback continues. But this distorted
noise doesn't sound properly, so just click the stop button.
During the file conversion process, this will displayed as "broken data"
next to the frame counter.
System Tray icon has disappeared...
Pressing [CTRL] + [SHIFT] + [Q] return the application to the desktop.
